July 2016 NPO Salary Survey Report

Our July 2016 NPO Salary Report is now available - Purchase the report and have access to compensation practices and employment regulations for the NPO sector in South Africa.

Our July 2016 NPO Salary Survey Report covers over 5 000 employees employed in the NPO Sector, 250 Benchmark Positions and a total of Ninety-Three (93) NPO organisations participated in our survey this year.   Please see download 1, below, for a list of the NPO participant organisations as well as appendix 2, for a list of all our benchmark position descriptions covering the job families listed below:

All compensation levels have been analyzed exhaustively into Paterson Broad Bands and Single Grades, correlated to Task Grades and Peromnes and lower, median and upper quartiles and averages as follows:

Annual Guaranteed Pay:  basic salary, the value of all cash and non-cash benefits and allowances and guaranteed total compensation levels;
Annual Variable Pay:  the value of performance incentive bonus “caps”;
Annual “total-cost-to-company”: the total value of all guaranteed and variable pay; and
For Senior Management and Executive Positions data is also sorted in accordance with the NGO Sector and Organisation Size Parameters

Salaries by grade tables are also included for Paterson Broad and Single Grades for Community Social Services, Legal, Health Care and all job families
